Thermal Chamber „GDAŃSKA”

The Thermal Chamber is designed to conduct experimental and specialist research. The research methodology can be varied and dependent on assumptions. This chamber gives wide opportunities for behavioral assessment of human organism and technical equipment in a complex combination of temperature, humidity, air flow and pressure.
Work of the chamber is computer-controlled enabling the acquisition of the following technical parameters:

• temperature range from –30°C to +60°C with accuracy 1°C;
• speed of temperature changes: 1°C/min;
• humidity from 10% to 99% in temperature range from +20°C to +80°C with accuracy +1%;
• air flow from 0.1 to 3.5 m/s;
• barometric pressure from 760 mmHg to 9 mmHg with pressure change regulated from 0 to 15 mmHg;
• usable volume of the chamber – 30 m³.
