Every year on 15th of August we are celebrating one of the most significant days for every Pole – National Armed Forces Day. It is to commemorate the glarious victory of Polish Forces in the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. This special day for our nation has been introduced on 13th of August 1992 by the authority of Polish Governament (Dz.U. [Journal of Laws] from 1992, no. 60, item 303).

On August 28, we celebrate the Polish Aviation Day. On this occasion, we express our deepest respect and wish all pilots safe and high flights.

The Venezuelan military pilots from the Grupo Aéreo de Caza No. 16, also known as "The Dragons", underwent a weekly training in the MIAM’s human training centrifuge.

Artur Kielak, Polish champion in aerobatics, who was eighth at the 28th FAI World Aerobatic Championships 2015, tested capabilities of the MIAM’s human centrifuge while shooting an episode on his passion to fly for a television programme.

Stefan Gaździński PhD presented the research findings on influence of diet in rats on brain and metabolism at the 20th World Congress of International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders.

The Military Institute of Aviation Medicine and NATO STO organised the 35 NATO HFM Panel Business Meeting and HFM-249 Symposium on Emerging Technological Advances in Tactical Casualty Care, which were held from 19 to 23 April 2015 in Warsaw, Poland.

The CNS Lab - Centre for Integrated Structural and Functional studies of the Central Nervous System was officially opened on 20 February 2015 at the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine (MIAM).

On 27-28 January 2015 the Aeromedical Training Department of MIAM conducted a centrifuge training for the participants of a project funded by the European Space Agency.
