35 NATO HFM Panel Business Meeting and HFM-249 Symposium in Warsaw

The Military Institute of Aviation Medicine and NATO STO organised the 35 NATO HFM Panel Business Meeting and HFM-249 Symposium on Emerging Technological Advances in Tactical Casualty Care, which were held from 19 to 23 April 2015 in Warsaw, Poland.

Col Olaf Truszczyński PhD, director of the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine (MIAM), HFM Panel Principal Member and local host of both events welcomed the distinguished guests from around the world at the Opening Ceremony on 20 April 2015. In the evening most of the symposium attendees participated in the Host Nation Reception, which took place at the Institute. Many of them were impressed by the dynamic flight simulator.

Maciej Jankowski, Under-Secretary of State for Defence visited the demonstration session (photo gallery) at the HFM 249 Symposium on 21 March 2015. In the evening the NATO delegates and symposium attendees enjoyed the Gala Dinner.

The 35 NATO HFM Panel Business Meeting and HFM-249 Symposium in Warsaw gathered approximately 150 attendees from 28 NATO countries and representatives of the Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), as well as selected Contact Nations.

The event in Warsaw was successful and much appreciated by the participants.
